DevOpsDays Ukraine is a part of the global DevOpsDays family.
On 17-18 May, we were running a virtual charity event, where the main goal was to collect donations to support Ukrainians.
We are going to collect about €100 000 to support Ukrainians in fighting against Russia. These donationts will be given to charity foundations: Happy Paw, Insight, Razom, Voices of children, Monster corporation, KOLO.
Of course, after event we provide all reports.
Our fund partner Razom is responding to this by providing critical medical supplies and amplifying the voices of Ukrainians.
Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian, is a non-profit organization supporting the people of Ukraine in their continued quest for democracy and progress. They were born out of the Revolution of Dignity in 2014.
Now Razom team doing a huge work to bring together non-profits all over the world to aggregate hospital supplies and help Ukraine defenders and Ukrainians.

We collaborate with “The Voices of Children Foundation” to help children and save their lives.
Voices of Children is providing:
— psychological help to the children and parents that suffered from war;
— urgent assistance to women and children being refugees from the entire Ukraine with all the necessities, accommodation and relocation;
— and arranging centers for conducting group sessions with children evacuated from the active war zone.
The Voice's team mission is: “Not a single child in Ukraine should be left alone with the war”.
Together we can help children not to be alone and lose their childhood.

We collaborate with Charity Foundation “Happy Paw” to help Paw team to rebuild shelters that were bombed and save animals lives.
Some numbers about during-a-war-activities:
— 103 shelters and mini-shelters were provided with assistance.
— 12 000 homeless animals live in these shelters and have received assistance from the foundation.
— 120 volunteers received humanitarian aid and financial assistance for the purchase of animal feed from the fund. They take care of 1581 animals.
— 28 000 kg of feed was sent to the animals in shelters. 21 tons were purchased by the fund, 7 tons—humanitarian aid from foreign partners.
— Paw's team continue to treat of 7 seriously ill animals.

The Monster's team provides emergency medical, social and humanitarian assistance to children and the elderly in Odessa and Odessa region.
Fund main directions:
— providing medical care to people
— assistance to hospitals (purchase of new equipment and repair of departments)
— good lunch for single Odesa citizens
— assistance to graduates of orphanages
— humanitarian aid to people in difficult life situations.
Now Monsters team, among main directions, provide Ukraine defenders with the necessary medicines, medical equipment and first aid kits.

Insight is a human right public organization, which brings together lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender people and queers. Their values are equality, feminism, freedom, inclusiveness, diversity for all social groups.
Insight provides LGBTQI + people with:
— Psychological help due to homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia, which still prevail in our society.
— Legal Assistance for survivors of domestic violence; people who have suffered from hate crimes; people who face discrimination.
— Friendly Doctor Database for anyone who needs the help or advice of a therapist, gynecologist, endocrinologist, psychologist, or looking for an LGBT-friendly family doctor.
In times of war, Insight team provides targeted assistance to LGBTQI+ community with housing, hormones for trans people, legal, psychological assistance.

Our partner Charity Foundation ‘KOLO’ does their best to help Ukrainians in such directions:
— evacuation of people to Western Ukraine and abroad;
— urgent hospitals needs;
— transportation of humanitarian aid;
— donate used vehicles.
As of today, the KOLO Charitable Foundation evacuated more than 3,500 people, transferred 25 vehicles for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Territorial Defense, and delivered more than 850 tons of humanitarian aid.
